Update 1 - Done and notes from a novice.

Okay so it's been a couple of days since I made this live. Wrote a bio... wait no. description. wait, I'll give context.

----

The beginning.

Hello, Tony here. As you can see ... I'm not a writer,  (no negative talk!) I'm a novice writer and game designer, but my strength are illustration, design and video.  Oh I have dyslexia, but I think I lean on this too much as an excuse for my bad spelling, but it's true!, but I also digress. Hopefully by writing more and proofing my writing I'll get better; digression over.

The Reason.

I'll be sharing the process from start to finish here, documenting and making some sort of time capsule for me to look back on as my 1st TTRPG dev log, do people call it that? I don't know - I guess it doesn't matter.

Anyway...

Posted the mock-up cover and wrote a bulleted outline of the game to start.

(IDEA! - I'll put a signed copy for fun as a placeholder for this test.)

Problem one - No downloads, No support button: I realised since I haven't uploaded anything to download, there is so way to support the game (which makes total sense from a functional point of view) so I'll do that after this post.

Problem two - I didn't realise I got into ZIMO! I was also pointing to the HTML version.... so I'll update that as well.

Ummm what else... I guess I'll upload the cover and see if I can get the support button going and so a soft itchfunding. which means I may need to adjust it from pay what you want to purchase price.

Edit:
Solution - The preorder: so I've made it 1 dollar to pre-order as I'm confident that I'll be able to produce everything myself, just not the editor portion, so any extra funds would go to that.  If it doesn't hit that goal, it's all good! happy to have started it and tried it.

Solution - How is everyone getting these fund bars?:
To be fair, I've not read any docs on itch.io, so to my surprise, I found what I was looking for with one search. (in google)
https://itch.io/docs/creators/sales
I tend to just create stuff and figure it out as I go...
 - Aim is to sell 50 digital copies!

But happy with any really.

Okay think that's it for this log. Probably not the most coherent writing but it's a start.
Thanks, and have a great day!
