Update 4 - Summoning and Rituals
Greetings!
I've been in/on? radio silence due to work and skating on broken promises (bad time management). So I've made a visual outline for myself to stay on track with 1 key focus in mind for the day. Though I'll probably do a bit of each if time allows. Since I already have the Alpha (HTML) version to go off, I just need to clean it up and expand the world a tad.... so its fine... right...?
I wanted this game to be
- System agnostic
- Able to add to any campaign or played as a one-shot
- Expand the world build with characters that may return in next adventures.
- Low-stakes, death isn't really on the table, but consequences are.
- Adventure to be easy to pick up with new players and new game masters.
- Ice-breaker to the pillars of social, exploration, combat.
Been thinking about the lore of the world, but don't want to over engineer it. So avoiding the slabs of lore dumps.
I do really like dark souls approach of lore within items descriptions and also leaving enough information for the imagination of the Game Master to fill it themselves as well; the approach I prefer ... so just providing the tools or sparks for adaption to suit the game.
Though if you are new.... I may add in some sort of clippy suggestions to jump start.
Okay that's it! no proofing this update because... I'm all out of time.
Bye~
